CUTTING-EDGING-DRILLING-WASHING AUTOMATION

The automation production line for glass cold processing from SINGIP is the latest technology for glass cutting, edging, perforation and washing . It consists of a Jumbo Cutting Table and a Integrated Edging and Drilling Line which only request 2 people at the cut, 1 at the entrance, and 2 at the exit of the line. With a proper setup, this line can produce up to 120 m² per hour, depending on the thickness and dimensions of the parts.

Benefits and Efficiency

Jumbo Cutting Table

The Jumbo Cutting Table significantly improves yield in product optimization, reducing the optimization loss rate by an average of 4% compared to traditional sheets.

  1. Storage Capacity: It can have up to 6 glass storage racks, each with a capacity of approximately 850 m², totaling up to 5000 m² of stored glass. This provides great autonomy, minimizing stops for refueling.

  1. Automatic Labeler (Optional): Identifies parts quickly and without human error, eliminating manual identification errors and increasing productivity. Only two people are needed to operate the equipment, thanks to the optical sensor that automatically adjusts the sheet outside the square, ensuring precise cuts.

Integrated Edging and Drilling Line

The Integrated Edging and Drilling Line is composed of a double edging line and a water-jet drill, automating production with high efficiency.

  1. Automation: With the reading of labels at the entrance of the line, the equipment automatically adjusts the height, width and thickness of the parts, ensuring dimensional quality.
  2. Horizontal Processing: Reduces the risk of breakages and accidents. It uses servo motors in the diamond grinding wheels, allowing quick changes and automatic adjustments to compensate for wear, ensuring better performance.
  3. Automatic Separation: The SINGIP line automatically separates the parts with and without hole according to pre-parameterization, directing the parts to the washer or to the water jet drilling.

  1. Integration with ERP: The ERP generates DXF files for the waterjet to make holes and cutouts according to the project. Waterjet machining is faster and has low maintenance compared to conventional CNC machines.
